About Gridpin

Run by a 20-year construction pro, not a generic form aggregator.

Gridpin grew out of the same paperwork problem every crew feels the first time they try to scale a single truck into a small company. The founder has spent more than twenty years on active jobsites — running crews, running paperwork, and running out of patience with form aggregators that hand every trade the same generic daily log and call it a template.

Every kit on this site started as a piece of paper in a truck or a half-finished .docx in a job-trailer folder, and got cleaned up for the people who still use paper, laptops, and tablets in the field. The goal is not a beautiful template — the goal is a kit a working foreman can pick up at 6:30 a.m. and actually deploy on the same afternoon.

Founder story

From a hospital-construction clipboard to a digital template studio.

The first kit on this site was a stack of clipboards the founder had carried on a hospital-grade renovation for two years. The safety paperwork alone was a different checklist for every trade on site, every day. That — not a generic daily log — is where Gridpin started, and the rest of the catalog grew out from there.

Drafted in the field, sold online.

Every form on this site is something the founder has filled out — or watched someone else fill out — on a real job. Not a marketing-clean mock-up, not an AI summary of a trade. A real form, on a real clipboard, on a real job.

Distribution leans on Etsy listings, a Pinterest keyword grid, and evergreen Google search — with new releases scheduled toward underserved sub-niches instead of fighting in the saturated lanes.

The value prop

Drafted in the field, printable the same afternoon.

A Gridpin kit is not a CMS template you spend a Sunday editing into shape. You open the file, fill in the company header, and the rest is already laid out the way the trade writes it. That is the whole product — not a stack of file formats, a logo-matched colorway, or a built-in timer.

What’s included

Three things that come with every kit — the same three, every time.

No add-on tiers, no “enterprise” upsell, no “starter bundle” with fewer features. Every kit ships with the same paperwork, the same license, and the same field-ready quick-start.

US Letter + A4

Both paper sizes in every kit, no upcharge.

US Letter for the United States and Canada, A4 for everywhere else. Every form is laid out for both — same artwork, same field order, re-paginated for the page.

Commercial-use license

One license covers the company across jobs and crew members.

Use the kit on as many projects as you bill for in a year. Hand it to the GC, hand it to the new hire. No per-form fees, no per-seat fees, no per-job renewal.

Quick-start cheatsheet

A field-ready single-pager, written for the truck.

Which form goes with which situation, the order to fill them out, and the small language choices — formal vs. casual, with or without photos — that make a form read like the trade wrote it.
